Sharon and Ian Goodhardt are the partnership behind Goodhardt Consulting.  They have over 20 years experience of helping people improve their relationships and get more out of life.

 

 

 

Ian Goodhardt has multiple qualifications for this work including

· Master of Counselling

· Master of Conflict Resolution

· Relationships Australia Specialist Course in Couples Therapy

· Gazetted Mediator under Victorian Department of Justice

· Satisfies the Attorney Generals requirements for a Family Mediator under the Family Law Act

· Studied family law under Prof Tom Altobelli, author of the standard text Family Law in Australia.

Ian has worked for many years with the  Family Mediation Centre and the Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria, and is much in demand as a speaker and presenter.

 

Sharon Goodhardt has a psychology degree and a post-graduate Certificate of Education.  She has over 20 years experience of teaching and advising parents and teachers. Sharon has counselled scores of couples, has a wonderfully warm personality and engaging style.

Sandra has a background in education, nursing (Cardiology) and grief counselling in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. She holds a Master of Conflict Resolution degree and is a PhD candidate in the School of Law, at La Trobe University. Her research explores mediating with a client who displays the characteristics of borderline personality disorder. She has been an accredited mediator for 7 years, specializing in entrenched high conflict disputes. She initially trained using a traditional Harvard, interest based model but presently prefers a Transformative approach. Sandra has recently been welcomed onto the Goodhardt team.
